Features
ETNA's quartz inverted-mesa (Q-IM) blanks are manufactured by original ion-thinning technology, in which an ordered flow of energetic ions provides for proper surface finish , flatness and thickness uniformity of the exposed to ions inverted- mesa part of the blank. High-grade quartz monocrystals hydrothermally- grown by VNIISIMS (Alexandrov, Russia) are used as a starting material for the blanks.
